Tricks so that your car not only shines on the outside, but also on the inside

Sometimes we are very concerned about how clean our car is on the outside, since it is the visible part by everyone, and we put aside the interior cleaning, without taking into account that in the end it is where we and our companions go during the journeys.

While it is true that cleaning the interior of our car is more meticulous than the exterior, since you have to pay attention to small details, and it can be lazier to do it, this should never be a reason to neglect it.

For this reason, below, we are going to give you some indications so that you can correctly clean the interior of your car and leave it as shiny on the inside as it is on the outside.

Cleaning the interior of the car step by step

In addition to the mechanical care of the car, it is also important to keep the car clean. As we have anticipated, this time we are going to explain how to clean the interior of the car.

The first thing to do is gather the necessary cleaning supplies, such as special upholstery brushes, rags, odor removers, thinner, leather cleaners, conditioners, etc.

When you have everything ready, it’s time to get down to work. We recommend that you start cleaning the upper areas and finish with the lower ones, so as not to get dirty again what is already clean.

For example, you can start brushing off dust in the cracks, air vents, or other small areas. When you’re done, you can continue cleaning the entire dashboard and consoles, using a cloth with a plastic cleaner until all the dirt is removed.

Next, clean the inside of the window glass, just as you would clean any other glass, with a cloth and a glass cleaner.

Once the windows and dashboard are clean, what is perhaps the most cumbersome part of cleaning the interior of the car arrives: the upholstery. The first thing you should do is vacuum it to eliminate dust and other dirt particles that have accumulated with use as much as possible.

In this sense, you will not only have to vacuum the seats, but also the mats, which we recommend removing and shaking also, the floor, the roof and any corner of the car where there may be dust and embedded particles.

When the upholstery is thoroughly vacuumed, it is time to use the upholstery cleaner to remove dirt that is not vacuumed. You should pour the product on the surface and then rub with a brush. Afterwards, you can rinse with a damp cloth to remove product and dirt residues.

Last but not least, you should clean the pedals with a brush and cleaning product, as it will surely be one of the dirtiest areas of the car, as they are in continuous contact with the sole of the shoe.

When you finish car cleaning, you can apply conditioner to improve the finish, and do not use the car for the next several hours to let it air dry. Once the interior of the car has dried, you can begin to enjoy your impeccable car on the outside, but also on the inside.
